MAGNOLIA -- Huey A. Ezzell, 77, died Thursday, Oct. 10, at home.
Visitation will be Sunday, Oct. 13, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, Oct. 14, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's of the Angels Catholic Church, U.S. 117 South, Mount Olive.
Fr. Jim Garneau will preside. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Ezzell had served in the United States Army from which he retired.
He was a talented musician with stringed instruments.
He is survived by his wife, Christine R. Ezzell of the home; sons, Charles Ezzell and wife, Cindy, of Austin, Texas, and James Ezzell and wife, Judy, of Magnolia; daughters, Sylvia E. Peterson and fiancé, Lamar Gillis, of Magnolia, Bettina Ezzell of Denmark and Shirley E. Creech and husband, Dennis, of Clinton; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five brothers; and two sisters.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to St. Jude Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn., 38105.
