ARBA COLLON SULLIVAN

Arba Collon Sullivan, 87, died Monday at Fayetteville VA Nursing Center in Fayetteville, N.C. Born in Duplin County, he was the son of the late Jesse and Addie Herring Sullivan. He was a veteran of the United States Army and the United States Air Force and a member of The Church Of Latter Day Saints, 2nd Ward in Goldsboro. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion and the 40 and 8's.

A service to celebrate his life will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. Family members will remain to greet friends immediately following the service.

Mr. Sullivan is survived by his wife, Jean Sullivan; his children, Kenneth Franklin Sullivan and wife, Rhonda, Judy S. Hales, Robert Brian Carter and wife, Betty, Johnnie S. Myers, Lisa Carol Sullivan and Arba Collon Sullivan, Jr. and wife, Amy; grandchildren, Breyl Fields Brinkley, Suzanne F. Daniels, Cortni Carter, Jamin Carter, Kandise Myers, Mark David King Jr., Arba C. Sullivan III; and nine great grandchildren.
