TURKEY -- J.D. Morrisey, 86, 368 Cornwallis Road, died Saturday at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.
He was the son of the late Arthur and Annie Carlton Faison, and was born in Sampson County March 22, 1927.
Homegoing service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Greater Six Run Baptist Church, with the Rev. Leslie Morrisey, officiating. Burial will follow in Wilson Chapel Church Cemetery.
Two children survive.
Viewing will be held Wednesday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel. The family will be present from 4 to 6 p.m. to receive friends, and at other times will be at 203 N. Cross St., Warsaw.
