TURKEY -- J.D. Morrisey, 86, 368 Cornwallis Road, died Saturday at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.
Funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Greater Six Run Baptist Church, with the Rev. Leslie Morrisey officiating. Burial will be in Wilson Chapel Church Cemetery.
He was the son of the late Arthur and Annie Carlton Faison, born in Sampson County March 22, 1927.
Two children survive.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel, with the family present from 4 to 6 p.m. At other times, the family will be at 203 N. Cross St. in Warsaw.
