POOLER, Ga. -- Services for Mrs. Angela Denise Dowell Goolsby are noon Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013, in the chapel of Adams Funeral Service, 510 Stephenson Ave., Savannah, Ga., 31405.
Born in Nashville, Tenn., she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy (Geraldine) Dowell.
A graduate of Hampton University, and a United States Army veteran, Capt. Goolsby courageously served her country for 13 years.
Survivors include husband, Adrian Eugene Goolsby; daughters, Anastacia and Annika Goolsby, all of Pooler; parents, Jimmy and Geraldine Dowell of Goldsboro, N.C.; sister Sharon (Craig) Williams; nieces, Kayla and Cydney Williams of Goldsboro, N.C.; grandmother, Mrs. Clyde Dowell of Elkin, N.C.; in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Walter and Louise Goolsby; brother-in-law, Cedric Goolsby; nieces, Ashley and Amber Goolsby; nephew, Aaron Goolsby of Gray, Ga.; and a host of aunts, uncles and many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Salvation Army Community Center of Savannah, Ga.
