John Lamont Lewis, 55, 303 S. John St., died Tuesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the James T. Haskins Memorial Chapel of Haskins Funeral Home. Burial will be in Old Mill Cemetery.
He was born June 2, 1958, to James and Eletha Lewis in Wayne County.
Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m., with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. At other times the family will receive friends at 202 Sherington Drive, where it will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
