George Paul Anderson Jr., 83, died Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late George Paul Sr. and Esther Lane Anderson, and husband of the late Joyce McGowan Anderson.
He is survived by two daughters and five sons.
Arrangements are by Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and Crematory.
