Terri Talton Smith, 57, passed away Sunday evening at her home.

Terri was born in Wayne County Dec. 11, 1955, to Rachel Woodard Talton of Princeton and the late Ralph Max Talton.

She had been employed as the activity coordinator with the Pines of Goldsboro, and had been an employee of the Girl Scout Council.

Terri was a member of Patetown Church of God, where she had served as a Sunday school teacher.

She loved life and the life she had with her husband, daughters and grandchildren. God has blessed her with all His love. She will live forever in all our hearts.

A service celebrating Terri's life will be held Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013, at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with pastor Marvin Wiggins and the Rev. Jeff Barnes officiating. Interment will be Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Pate Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home.

In addition to her mother, Terri is survived by her husband, George Pate Smith; daughters, April Ingram, Lisa Smith and Brooke Smith all of Goldsboro; brother, Billy Max Talton and wife, Beverly, of Princeton; two grandchildren, Tyler Jones and Hayden Enriquez; and two nieces, Felicia Carter and Mandy Kearney.
