DUDLEY -- Geraldine Joy "Gerri" Peddy Kidder, 65, Dudley, passed away Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013.
Gerri was born Nov. 25, 1947, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to the late Gerald Randall Peddy and Edith Joy Cannon Peddy.
A lifelong homemaker, Gerri enjoyed collecting eagles and watching movies, and was an avid reader.
A graveside service of remembrance will be held Friday, Aug. 23, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville.
Gerri is survived by her husband of 43 years, Robert F. "Bob" Kidder; two children, Sonny James Kidder and wife, Jennifer, of Pikeville and Kathie Spalla of Youngstown, Ohio; five grandchildren, Stephanie, Kiersten, Brandyn, Bradley and Jessica; great-grandchild, Emily; and a sister, Joy.
In addition to her parents, Gerri was preceded in death by a son, Terry Allen Kidder.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home in LaGrange.
