Mrs. Jacquelyn Williamson Gregory died July 30, 2013, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Gregory will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 601 W. Elm St., Goldsboro, with pastor Kenneth Tate officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Martin Luther King Boulevard.
A public viewing will be held Friday from 2 to 5:30 p.m., with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m.
Jacquelyn was preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband, deacon David Gregory Jr. in 1994; a sister, Jean W. McCallister; and two brothers, Daniel Williamson and Morris Lee and wife, Loraine Williamson.
Jacquelyn is survived by a daughter, minister Valorie Denise Gregory "Val" of the home; two sons, attorney Michael S. Williamson "Mike" and trustee Reginald Alvin Gregory "Reggie" both of the home; a stepson, David G. Royster "Greg"; two sisters, Alillian Williamson and Mary Roberta Williamson; a brother, Samuel Williamson (Hattie Bell Williamson); brother-in-law, deacon John David McCallister; sister-in-law, Janie G. Williamson; a great-aunt-in-law, the Rev. Repsie Warren of Philadelphia, Pa.; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at 1311 S. Slocumb St., where it will also assemble one hour prior to the service in preparation for the funeral procession.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Hamilton Funeral Chapel of Goldsboro.
