Mrs. Jacquelyn Williamson Gregory died July 30, 2013, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Gregory will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 601 W. Elm St., Goldsboro, with pastor Kenneth Tate officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Martin Luther King Boulevard.
A public viewing will be held Friday from 2 to 5:30 p.m., with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m.
Jacquelyn was preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband, deacon David Gregory Jr.; a sister, Jean W. McAllister (deacon John David McAllister); and two brothers, Daniel L. Williamson (Janie G. Williamson) and Morris Lee Williamson (Loraine Williamson).
Jacquelyn is survived by three children of the home, daughter, minister Valorie "Val" Denise Gregory; two sons, attorney Michael "Mike" S. Williamson and trustee Reginald "Reggie" Alvin Gregory; a stepson, David Gregory "Greg" Royster of Goldsboro, N.C.; two sisters, Alillian Williamson of Maryland and Mary Roberta Williamson of Goldsboro, N.C.; a brother, Samuel Williamson (Hattie Bell) of Goldsboro, N.C.; a great-aunt-in law, the Rev. Repsie Warren of Goldsboro, N.C.; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Also, public viewing will be from 2 to 5:30 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, and the viewing will continue from 6 to 7 p.m. at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 601 W. Elm St., and the family will be present from 7 to 8 p.m.
The family will receive friends at 1311 S. Slocumb St., where it will also assemble one hour prior to the service in preparation for the funeral procession.
