WILLIE JASPER "RED" STRICKLAND

PINE LEVEL -- Willie J. "Red" Strickland, 1681 Evans Road, Princeton, died Monday at his residence.

Funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.

There will be a time of sharing with the family following the service and at other times at the residence.

Surviving are his wife, Louise Bridgers Strickland; sister, Esther S. Edwards of Goldsboro; stepdaughter, Juanita W. Sugg (Ronnie) of LaGrange; and stepsons, Edward Earl Williams (Norma) of Dudley and Johnny M. Williams (Mary Jo) of North Myrtle Beach, S.C.

His parents, May Belle Cotton Strickland and Willie Jasper Strickland, preceded him in death.

Until Red's retirement, he was owner and operator of Red Strickland Service Station at the corner of Grantham Street and George Street in Goldsboro.
