GARNER -- Pauline Taylor Ferrell, 91, died Saturday at Laurel Glenn's of Garner.
Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Margaret Elizabeth Taylor, and wife of the late George Ferrell.
She was a member of Nahunta Friends Church.
A service to celebrate her life will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home chapel, with he Rev. Bobby Heath officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Family members will greet friends Wednesday an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
She is survived by three sons, Glen (Kay) Ferrell of Greenville, N.C., Donnie (Kay) Ferrell of Garner and Durwood (Linda) Ferrell of Jacksonville, Fla.; a daughter, Diane (Jimmy) Bland of New Bern; a brother, Billy Taylor of Kinston; two sisters, Rosa Minchew of Goldsboro and Marjorie Rideoutt of Zebulon; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Harrell of Nahunta and Pauline Taylor of Washington, N.C.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
