Frances Mercer Pittman, 74, died at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield on Thursday.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Holly Springs Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Curtis Jones officiating. Visitation was Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Minshew-Coley Funeral Home in Kenly.
Born in Wilson County, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Mercer and the late Ellen Lucas Mercer.
She is survived by a daughter and two sons.
