ALLEN GRIMES

William Allen Grimes, 47, passed peacefully into that far better life with his Lord and Savior, and with those beloved family who went on before, while surrounded by his loving family.
Allen was born in Chicago on December 31, 1965, to the late Allen Ray Grimes and Martha Ellen Lovelace Grimes.
Allen was formerly employed with the Wayne County Sheriff's Department. He was also employed as associate editor for Dance Week and Heritage Dance Foundation.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, June 24, 2013, in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Harry officiating. Entombment will be on Tuesday, June 25, 2013, noon at Wayne Memorial Park.
Allen is survived by his son, Allen Ray Grimes II; sisters, Missy Grimes Zwerling and husband, Dr. Charles Zwerling, of Goldsboro and Linda G. Giuliani and husband, Mike, of Goldsboro; nieces and nephews, Ashlee Ehnert, Stacy Sherman and husband, Brandon, Sara Guiliani, Joseph Giuliani, Daniel Giuliani, Alexis Zwerling and Tiffany Thomas and husband, Chris; and great-nieces and nephews, Ethan, Dylan, Justin, Peyton, Brianna, Kaylin, Charlee and Haylee.
The family will receive friends Monday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of Mike and Linda Giuliani on 107 Longview Drive.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be given in his memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn., 38105.
