SNOW HILL -- Dorothy Sugg Byrd, 90, died Wednesday.
Funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Gordon Street Christian Church, with the Rev. Mark Benson officiating.
Visitation will follow. Interment will be at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
She was born May 15, 1922, in Lenoir County to the late Luther Joe Sugg and Bertie Hill Sugg. She was married to George Allen Byrd Jr.
She is survived by a daughter.
At other times the family will be at the home.
Arrangements are by Rouse Funeral Home of LaGrange.
