Alberta Faye Seymour, 67, passed away Monday, April 8, 2013, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family.
Alberta Faye was born in Wayne County to the late Albert Gladys Seymour and Vonnie Jackson Seymour.
Alberta Faye genuinely loved each member of her family, and could tell anyone the birthdays of her siblings, as well as her nieces and nephews.
She never finished a conversation with family members without an "I love you."
The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 10, 2013, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Alberta Faye spent her last days in Kitty Askins with the loving care of her sister-in-law, Donna Seymour, whom she affectionately called "Mama," and was her caregiver for the last 10 years.
She is also survived by her brother, Howard Seymour and wife, Connie, of Goldsboro; sisters, Viola S. Britt and husband, Billy, of Greensboro and Iola S. Barrow of Goldsboro; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Edward Seymour and Ralph Seymour, and a sister, Latha Jones.
