Mother Glennie Langston Rouse, 100, 100 N. Harding Drive, peacefully departed this life Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 22, 1912, to Henry and Effie Langston in Wayne County.
The triumphant homegoing service will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Greater Guiding Star United Holy Church, with the Rev. Joseph Williams officiating. Her mortal remains will be laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Griffin, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 5 p.m. at Haskins Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Greater Guiding Star United Holy Church.
The family will receive friends at other times at 100 N. Harding Drive, where it will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
