TERRY HOLLAND

Very early Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, our beloved Terry was suddenly called into the presence of his heavenly father and the fellowship of loved ones who have gone before. Those of us left behind already miss him so very much.
Terry was an adoring and devoted husband to his wife of 29 years, Susan Tilghman Holland.
Terry was a loving and caring father to Jessica Smith (Nathan) of Germany, Caroline Lovic (Chris) of Goldsboro and Angel Powell of Smithfield.
Terry was a phenomenal PaPa to his nine grandchildren, Spencer Powell, Kylie Lovic, Cayla Lovic, Alex Smith, Chloe Lovic, Christian Lovic Jr., Cameron Lovic, Isaac Smith and Alyssa Desilva.
Born in Spring Hope, Terry was the son of Rondal Holland and the late Ruth Sawyer.
In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Gary Holland.
Terry is survived by his brother, Larry Holland (Teresa) of Chesapeake, Va.; three sisters, Arlene Rose of Princeton, Sandra Naus of Chesapeake, Va., and Linda Hull of Princeton; and friends too numerous to count.
A celebration of life service for Terry will be held Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. Pastor Richard Toler of Love Memorial Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
