GLADYS J. HILL

Gladys Judith Smith Hill, 81, passed away Monday morning at LifeCare Hospital in Rocky Mount.
Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Waverly Smith and Gladys Benton Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clifton E. Hill.
She was a member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church.
A service to celebrate her life will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Dann Patrick officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Family members will greet friends Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hill is survived by her three sons and their wives, Dean and Tammy Hill of Goldsboro, Steve Hill of the home and L.J. and Tasha Hill of Seven Springs; five grandchildren, Clifton and Michelle Anstey of Jacksonville, N.C., Justin and Angie Hill of Mount Olive, Brandon Hill of Goldsboro and Ashley Hill and Christopher Hill both of Seven Springs; and seven great-grandchildren, Christopher Anstey, Piper Anstey, Angel Hill, Conner Hill, Jaden Hill, Jackson Hill and Noah Hill.
