Thedie C. Gardner, 66, Patetown community, passed away Tuesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by his family.
A service to celebrate his life will be 7 p.m. Thursday at Stoney Creek Free Will Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends following the service in the church.
The internment will be 11 a.m. Friday at Wayne Memorial Park with military honors.
