RONALD H. VINSON

Ronald Hiram Vinson, 75, passed away Saturday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Rones Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mike Whatley officiating. Family members will greet friends at the church following the service. A committal service will follow in the Vinson Family Cemetery in the New Hope Community.
Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late Hiram and Catherine Gray Vinson.
Mr. Vinson is survived by his wife, Helen Vinson; his godchildren, Dixon Smith and wife, Angelia, and their children, Carmen and Nicole, Cynthia Cuddington and husband, Alan, and their children, Travis and Dylan, Terrie Braxton and husband, Donel, and their children, Katie, Anna and Emily, Jennifer Strickland and her husband, Billy, and their children, Billy, Jack, Isaac and Alexandria.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to the Van Fund at Rones Chapel United Methodist Church, 138 Garner Chapel Road, Mount Olive, NC 28365.
