SEVEN SPRINGS -- Franklin Ray Fulghum, 33, Seven Springs, passed away Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013.
Known as "Frankie" or "Doodle" to family and friends, he was born June 24, 1979, in Wake County to Donna Smith Britt and the late Jimmie Franklin Fulghum.
A lover of the outdoors, Frankie enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an avid gun and knife collector.
Frankie possessed a genuine smile that would light up a room. He always put his feelings aside for others, and had a way of making everyone feel special.
Frankie loved a cookout, and cherished time spent with family and friends around good food.
A service to remember and celebrate Frankie's life will be held Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, with the Rev. Rick Rigney officiating. Interment will follow at Pineview Cemetery.
Frankie is survived by his mother and stepfather, Donna and William Britt of the home; two brothers, Jimmie Franklin Fulghum Jr. and wife, Lauren, of Goldsboro and Daniel Atwood Grant and his companion, Jessica Malpass, of Seven Springs; two nieces, Taylor Marie Driver and Natalie Elizabeth Fulghum; nephew, Noah Wearing; and a stepfather, Danny Ray Grant of LaGrange.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at Rouse Funeral Home in LaGrange. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rousefh.com.
