SOUTHPORT -- Ann Phipps Avery, 95, 924 Howe St., Dosher Nursing Center, formerly of Turkey, died Sunday.
Funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, with Father Joe Running officiating. Burial will be in Wayne memorial Park.
Born in 1917 in Sampson County, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Ella Mae Carroll Phipps.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter.
Arrangements are by Royal-Hall Funeral Home.
