Dennie Wilbert Stroud Jr., 65, died Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He was born in Wayne County Dec. 10, 1947, to the late Dennie Wilbert Stroud Sr. and Walter Etta Beamon Stroud.
Visitation will follow the service.
Arrangements are by Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
