DISTRICT HEIGHTS, Md. -- Mary H.B. Jones, 97, 2130 Rosyln Ave., District Heights, Md., formerly of Wilson, died Dec. 2, 2012, in Maryland.
Funeral service is scheduled for Saturday at 1 p.m. at Brown Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 1507 Hadley St., Wilson. Bishop Willie T. Thomas will officiate, and burial will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden, Lane Street Extension, Wilson.
Ms. Jones leaves to cherish her loving memories five daughters, Janice Kimbrough and Linda Faye Jones both of Maryland, with whom she lived, Pattie Mae Daniels of New York, Ozzie Lee Pate (Charlie) of Wilson and Helen Diggs of Wilson; four sons, Carnell Jones of Durham, Gene Barnes (Lillie Mae) of Wilson, Donald Ray Jones of Durham and Anthony Jones of Maryland; 36 grandchildren; 72 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other special relatives and friends.
Ms. Jones will be out for viewing Friday from 3 to 8 p.m., with the family receiving friends Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 726 SW Tarboro St., Wilson. At other times, the family will receive friends at the residence of Gene and Lillie Mae Barnes, 2217 Fieldcrest Road, Wilson, where it will also assemble Saturday at noon in preparation for the funeral procession.
Services have been entrusted to the professional and caring staff of Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 726 SW Tarboro St., Wilson.
