MOUNT OLIVE -- Danny Thomas "Snoop" Battle, 53, 211 E. Nelson St., died Wednesday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.
Funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Alpha and Omega Christian Center. Burial will be in Old Mill Cemetery.
He was born Sept. 24, 1959, to Edna Smith Battle in Wayne County.
He is survived by two daughters.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 7 p.m., with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m. at Haskins Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at other times at 800 Fourth St., where it will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
