Daniel T. Vinson, 61, was the son of the late Jim and Bunny Vinson and brother of the late, Jeanne Masten.
He was retired from the city of Goldsboro.
He was a member of First Baptist Church and the Junior Chamber of Commerce.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Goldsboro.
Family members will greet friends an hour prior to the service in the church parlor.
He is survived by sisters, Martha, Sue and Beth, and brothers Mark, Henry, Robin and Jim.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to the First Baptist Church Choir Fund, 125 S. John St., Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
