NAPLES, Fla. -- Robert F. "Bob" Watson died in Naples, Fla., Oct. 21, 2012.
For the last 16 years, Bob divided his time between Blowing Rock, N.C., and Naples, Fla.
He enjoyed golf and belonged to clubs in Boone, Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte and Naples Grand in Naples, Fla.
Bob was born in Newport News, Va., and was schooled in Goldsboro and at Wake Forest University.
He was a partner with the international accounting firm of Price Waterhouse, and served as regional tax partner for the last five years before his retirement in 1990.
A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at 2 p.m. in Wayne Memorial Park in Goldsboro.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Ann Rose; a son, Robert Jr.; and two grandchildren.
