Paul Lee Phillips, 82, formerly of Fremont, died Sunday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.
Family and friends will gather at his daughter's house at 305 Maplewood Drive.
Visitation and viewing of the body will be held Friday, Sept. 28, at 2 p.m. at Howell's Funeral Chapel, with funeral services immediately following at 3 p.m. Burial will be at Wayne Memorial Park.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his wife of 57 years, Anna Grace; a son, Paul (Sharon) of Goldsboro; two daughters, Iris Phillips of Raleigh and Jenny Sharpless of Goldsboro; a sister, Margaret Ballanger of Vineland, N.J.; an aunt, Georgia Brown of Marietta, Ga.; and four grandchildren.
