NEW BERN -- Gene Louis Crow Sr., 69, passed away Monday, Aug. 6, 2012, at Carolina East Medical Center.
Gene was born in Wayne County Aug. 20, 1942, to the late Edwin S. Crow Sr. and Ruth Ellinwood Crow.
He had been employed as a superintendent with Bobby Cahoon Construction.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, at The Church on The Rock in Goldsboro.
The family will greet friends following the service.
Gene is survived by his wife, Judy Barber Crow; his children, Gene L. Crow Jr., James Stuart Crow, Chuck Godwin and wife, Cherie, Michael Carter and wife, Allison, and Norman Carter; his brothers, Stuart Crow and wife, Nina, and Vincent Crow; his sisters, Frances May and husband, Charles, and Joy Howell and husband, Shane; his sister-in-law, JoAnn Crow; and nine grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Crow.
