Johnnie Jean Boseman, 76, died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Wayne County to Fred and Mary Price Sauls, and was married to the late Clarence E. Boseman.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 6 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, and the family will be receiving friends immediately following the service.
At other times the family will be receiving friends at the home of Terry Boseman, 113 Pheasant Drive, Pikeville. The family will also be receiving friends Thursday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. at the home of Barbara Hoover, 836 Hood Swamp Road, Goldsboro.
She is survived by three sons, Eddie Boseman Jr. and Carl Boseman both of Goldsboro and Terry Boseman of Pikeville; a sister, Bessie "Pete" Edmundson of Chesapeake, Va.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Pinewood Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 10841, Goldsboro, N.C., 27532.
