Lamont Rowe, 60, 710 N. Virginia St., Apt. B., died Friday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
He was born March 20, 1952, to Frank Rowe Sr. and Essie Mitchell Rowe.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Rowe Jr.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at
1 p.m. in the James T. Haskins Memorial Chapel of Haskins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park North.
He is survived by his son, Lamont Rowe Jr. of Norfolk, Va.; siblings, Leona Ashford of Goldsboro, Lona Smith of Fort Washington, Md., and Royal Rowe of Jacksonville.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 7 p.m. at Haskins Funeral Home of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at the home of his sister, Leona Ashford, 202 Pinewood Drive, where it will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
