Jonah Ray Strickland, 69, 1027-A Lincoln Drive, died Wednesday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.
Funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Parkers Chapel Church, with pastor Gregory Holmes officiating. Burial will be in Croom Cemetery in LaGrange.
He was born Jan. 25, 1943, to the late Peter and Henretta Garner Strickland in Duplin County. He was married to Bertha Strickland.
Visitation will be today from 2 to 7 p.m., with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m.
J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations is handling the arrangements.
