Edna Rollins Wells, 89, passed away Monday, March 12, 2012, surrounded by her family at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Edna was born in Wayne County Oct. 28, 1922, to the late Lloyd and Maude Rollins.

She was a member of Pleasant Hill Free Will Baptist Church.

Edna retired after 16 years of service with Barry of Goldsboro.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 15, 2012, at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Thick and the Rev. Sherman Dilley officiating. Interment will follow Friday, March 16, 2012, at 11 a.m. in Pleasant Hill Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.

Edna is survived by her daughters, Carol Piscopo of Rosewood, Betty Stocks of Goldsboro, Brenda Corbett and husband, Ken, of Pikeville and Linda Glass and husband, Thomas, of Grimesland; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her brothers, the Rev. Albert Rollins of Grimesland, Lloyd Rollins and wife, Mary Alice, Joseph Rollins, James T. Rollins and wife, Monica, and Willie M. Rollins and wife, Sara, all of Goldsboro.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Mae Wells; her sisters, Lillie Parrucii and Rachel Moore; her brother, Robert Rollins; and her son-in-law, Robert Stocks.

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 15, 2012, following the service at Seymour Funeral Home.
