MOUNT OLIVE -- Thomas Kornegay, 74, died Saturday at Mount Olive Care and Rehabilitation.
Funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church, with pastor Larry B. Faison officiating. Burial will be in Carver Cemetery.
Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late William Oscar and Hattie Chestnut Kornegay.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel. At other times, the family will be at the home of Oscar and Virginia Kornegay, 210 McCullen St., Mount Olive.
