THELMA T. KENNEDY

Thelma Talton Kennedy, 92, passed away on Saturday morning at the Brian Center.
Graveside services will be held today at 4 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park with the Rev. Dennis Pollock officiating.
Thelma was born in Wayne County on April 5, 1919, to the late Jessie A. Talton and Sallie Robbins Talton. She was married to the late Isaac Thomas Kennedy. Thelma was a retired seamstress from Weil's Department Store.
Thelma is survived by her sons, Thomas Kennedy and wife, Annette, of Grantham and Donald Kennedy of Florence, S.C.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kennedy was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Brenda Kennedy, as well as her sister, Blanche Hales.
The family will receive friends prior to the graveside service today from 2:30 until 3:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Thomas and Annette Kennedy, 403 Raynor Mill Road, Mount Olive.
