NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- Helen B. Cassidy Faircloth, 90, died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011.
She was a native of Wilson and a Virginia peninsula resident for 43 years.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Brockley C. Cassidy and Daniel H. Faircloth.
She is survived by four children, Eloise Earp of Battleboro, Beverly Ann Shackleford and husband, Jimmy, of Rocky Mount, Martha Ann Daniels and husband, C.J. of Windsor and Danny Cassidy and wife, Betty, of Goldsboro; nine grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Saturday, Dec. 3, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of W.J. Smith and Son Funeral Home in Newport News, Va.
A private family graveside service was held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Rocky Mount.
