Stephanie Ann Robinson Best, 51, of 102 Dell Drive, Dudley, N.C., graciously departed her life on Friday, Dec. 2, 2011, at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville, N.C.
Stephanie was born in Zaragoza, Spain on June 8, 1960, to Walter F. Robinson and the late Maude Rich Robinson.
The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011, at 11 a.m. from Wave of Glory Church, 915 McDaniels St., Goldsboro, with Pastor Daniel Uzzell officiating. Interment will follow in the Wayne Memorial Park -- North at 1191 Old Grantham Road, Goldsboro.
A public viewing will be held Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011 at McIntyre Funeral Home and Florist, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro, from 2 until 6 p.m. Also on Wednesday, a wake will be conducted from 6 until 8 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home, with the family present.
Mrs. Best leaves to cherish her loving and precious memories, her father, Walter Freeman Robinson of Dudley, N.C.; her husband, Sidney Best of Raleigh, N.C.; a daughter, India Best-McLeod of Raleigh, N.C.; two brothers, Walter Robinson Jr., of Maryland and Ricky Robinson of California; a sister, Waldenia Torrence of California; three grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends at 102 Dell Drive, Dudley, N.C., where they will also assemble Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011 at 9:45 a.m. in preparation for the funeral procession.
