MARQUIS LAMONT EZZELL

MOUNT OLIVE -- Marquis LaMont Ezzell, 27, 414 Franklin St., departed this life and entered into eternal rest Friday.
Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the Rev. Anthony and Gloria Barfield Ezzell.
A life celebration service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church, with his father officiating. Burial will follow in Carver Cemetery.
In addition to his parents, Marquis is survived by his daughter, whom he cherished, Sarah Ezzell; a brother, Deshaun Barfield of Raleigh; a sister, Lakita Ezzell of Mount Olive; his grandmother, Mary Valentene Barfield of Mount Olive; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A time of reflection and sharing with Marquis' family will be held Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home.
