MARY FRANCES ARTIS PEACOCK

PIKEVILLE -- Mary Frances Artis Peacock, 1487 Airport Road, Pikeville, departed this life at 3:55 p.m. Sept. 20, 2011, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Ervin Lee Peacock Sr. of the home; a son, Ervin Lee (Amanda) Peacock Jr. of Goldsboro; a daughter, LaTosha Denise (Johnnie) Cox of Goldsboro; a granddaughter, Angel Alicia Imani Cox of Goldsboro; four brothers, Willie Frank (Mattie) Artis of Pikeville, Curtiss Eugene and Ronnie Lee Artis both of Goldsboro and Jimmy Lee (Tonya) Artis of Eureka; and a sister, Ernestine (Thaddeus) Lewis of Goldsboro.
A visitation will be held Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home and from 7 to 8 p.m. at White Oak Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church, 2261 Big Daddy's Road, Pikeville.
A service of remembrance will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at White Oak Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church in Pikeville, with pastor elder Dorian Suggs officiating. Following the services in the sanctuary, Mrs. Peacock's delicate temple, along with her adored family, will be escorted to Elmwood Cemetery in Goldsboro for interment rites.
Mrs. Peacock's earthen vessel is peacefully resting at E.M. Matthews Funeral Home, where the Peacock and connected families are receiving prestigious service.
