BETTY FAY GURLEY JACKSON

GRANTHAM -- Betty Fay Gurley Jackson, 66, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Betty was born in Wayne County March 19, 1945, to Victoria Lynch Gurley of Grantham and the late Eugene Gurley Sr.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, at noon at Family of Faith Community Church, with pastor John Earnest officiating. Interment will follow at Overbee Family Cemetery.
In addition to her mother, Betty is survived by her daughter, Janie Jackson Rowe and husband, Mark, of LaGrange; her sons, Jody Jackson of Corapeake, Joe Wilson of Grantham and Billy Ray Jackson III; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sisters, Peggy Warrick of Fremont and Shirley Burgette of LaGrange, and her brothers, Ray Gurley of Princeton and Eugene Gurley Jr. of Dudley.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son, Billy Ray Jackson Jr., and her brother, Wayne Gurley.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 11 a.m. to noon at Family of Faith Community Church.
