John Edward Glenn, 81, 2102 N. Berkeley Blvd., died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at McIntyre Funeral Chapel of Goldsboro, with elder Charles W. Bond officiating. Burial will be at Wayne Memorial Park Cemetery South in Dudley.
He was born in Henry County, Ala., Sept. 14, 1929, to the late Lizzie Johnson Glenn and Albert Glenn. He was married to Earnestine Glenn.
He is survived by two sons.
Visitation will be Friday at McIntyre Funeral Home and Florist from 2 to 6 p.m.
