Lola Worthington, 93, of Clinton, Md., formerly of Goldsboro, died Friday at Ft. Washington.

Memorial and interment services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park in Goldsboro.

She was born in Greene County to the late Martha and Frank Worthington. At an early age she joined White Oak Grove FWB Church, where she attended until she relocated to Washington, D.C. There she attended Faith Temple No. 2 Free Will Baptist Church in Seat Pleasant, Md.

Lola worked at Hadley Hospital in Washington and for a number of years before becoming a child care provider.

She is survived by two daughters, Elma Lofton (Ernest) of Goldsboro and Patsy Sumler (Willie) of Clinton, Md.; three sons, David Worthington (Esther) of Hershey, Pa., Roddie Worthington (Sylvia) of Temple Hills, Md., and Thomas Worthington (Vera) of Washington, D.C.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
