SMITHFIELD -- William Alvin Hill, 63, died Saturday evening at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home, with the Rev. Larry Hunt and the Rev. Gerald Wiggs officiating. Burial will be in Price Cemetery.
He was born April 15, 1948, in Johnston County to Joyce Holt Hill of Smithfield and the late William Rowdy "Met" Hill. He was married to Mildred Bradley Hill.
He is survived by a son and two daughters.
Visitation will be tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
