PIKEVILLE -- David Gooding, 85, Hinnant Road, died Sunday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral will be 7 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home in Goldsboro, with visitation afterward. Burial will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Stantonsburg Cemetery.
He was the son of the late Sim and Annie Tucker Gooding. He was married to Ellen Jernigan.
He is survived by a son and two daughters.
