Dennis Wayne Alphin, 64, Goldsboro, died Monday, June 6, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive, with visitation afterwards. Dr. Greg Day will officiate. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 9, at Wayne Memorial Park.
Friends and family will also be received at the Rose Williams residence at 106 Wintergreen Lane, Mount Olive.
A native of the Mount Olive area, Dennis was the son of Yank and Senora L. Alphin.
He had been employed with Georgia-Pacific Corp.
Survivors include his wife, Dantha "D" Alphin; a son, Kevin Wayne Alphin and wife, Stephanie, of Mount Olive; two daughters, Krystal Alphin and friend, Ricky Hill, of Mount Olive and Dana Hendrix of Goldsboro; a sister, Rose A. Williams of Mount Olive; two brothers, Ray "Tony" Alphin and James "Tommy" Alphin both of Seven Springs; seven grandchildren, Victoria and Kayla Alphin, Brandon and Kelsey Taylor, Destiny, Seth, and Karinne Anderson; and a great-grandson, Lucas Alphin.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Simpson, and a brother, Roger Alphin.
