Brenda Deaver Gaylord, 61, of 1232 J.R. Drive, Garner, died Friday at Kitty Askins of Goldsboro.
The funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. today, May 29, at Casey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Seymour officiating. Private burial will be at the Princeton Cemetery.
Mrs. Gaylord was born Oct. 20, 1949, and was the daughter of the late Thurman Ray Deaver and Margaret Martin Deaver.
She is survived by her husband, James Gaylord; son, Joey Burnham (Judy) of Nashville; daughter, Angie Burnham Tarnate (Tony) of Goldsboro; brother, Durwood Deaver (Diane) of Goldsboro; sisters, Donna Seymour of Goldsboro and Ann Hilliard (John) of Satellite Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Brooke Gurley, Cyle Gurley, Crystal Jeffreys and D.J. Jackson; two great-grandchildren; mother-in-law: Liola Gaylord; sister-in-law, Loretta Washburn (Frank); numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends starting at 2 p.m. today, May 29, at Casey Funeral Home and immediately following the funeral service.
Although flowers are welcome, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Blended Fellowship Church "Brenda Gaylord Fund," 2091 Big Daddy Road, Pikeville, NC 27863.
