ARTHUR LEE WALLACE

Arthur Lee Wallace, 78, went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, May 22, 2011, after a brief battle with cancer.
Mr. Wallace was born in Lenoir County to the late Arthur Corbett and Wealthy Vernon, and was the husband of Adele Conner Wallace.
Mr. Wallace was retired from Kemp Furniture.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Goldsboro Worship Center, with the Rev. Danny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, Junior Wallace and David Wallace both of Goldsboro, Ronnie Wallace and wife, Cathy, of Loganville, Ga., and Marty Wallace and wife, Theresa, of Doraville, Ga.; two daughters, Theresa Wallace Myers of Loganville, Ga., and Brenda Schultheis and husband, John, of Goldsboro; two brothers, J.C. Wallace and A.C. Wallace both of Goldsboro; two sisters, Shirley Downey of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Charlotte Myers of Charlotte, N.C.; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
