MYDE WELLS ROBERTS

Myde Wells Roberts, 90, passed away Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Roberts was born in Greene County June 5, 1920, to the late Kenneth Wells and Irene Britt Wells. She was married to the late Allison R. Roberts, who preceded her in death Dec. 29, 1995.
Mrs. Roberts was a member of Adamsville Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011, at 3 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont, with the Rev. Reynolds Smith officiating.
Mrs. Roberts is survived by her sons, Toby Roberts and wife, Diane, of Goldsboro and James A. Roberts and wife, Sandra, of Snow Hill; and three grandchildren, Dan Roberts and wife, Anna, Michelle Roberts and Jennifer R. Smith and husband, Mike.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her sister, Genevieve Warren, and a son, Kenneth Ray Roberts.
Memorials may be given in her memory to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
The family will receive friends Monday, Jan. 31, 2011, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at each of the sons' homes.
